Amsterdam, September 2026 – stYpe will unveil its biggest platform update to date at IBC2026, introducing StypeLand Saturn alongside three additional product releases: Follower Suit, AI Glue skeleton tracking and StypeTrek.

StypeLand Saturn: A New Architecture for Real-Time Production
For years, StypeLand has operated as a plugin inside Unreal Engine. With Saturn, stYpe reverses that relationship. StypeLand Saturn is a new node-based real-time compositor and renderer. As a result, Unreal Engine now runs as a plugin within it, becoming one of several supported engines rather than the mandatory host.
Saturn accepts inputs from Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot and NVIDIA’s Gaussian Splat renderer. In addition, it offers built-in rendering support for FBX scenes and other industry-standard formats, all inside a single, unified pipeline. As a result, compositing, GreenKiller keying and StypeLand’s existing capabilities now all run inside one streamlined environment.
The platform also ships with a new Saturn SDK for open, accessible integrations. On top of that, an integrated LUA scripting engine lets power users customize workflows to their exact needs.
stYpe has built Saturn into StypeCentral, continuing its push toward a single control point for VR, XR, AR and production graphics. As a result, users can adjust StypeLand settings on the fly, without navigating the Unreal Editor. Beyond compositing, Saturn also handles graphic overlays, plus video and audio switching and mixing. This extends its role well past traditional virtual production workflows.
Follower Suit: Broadcast-First Motion Capture
stYpe designed Follower, its motion capture system, from the ground up with a broadcast-first philosophy. Follower Suit extends that system to performers wearing mocap suits with retroreflective markers. It delivers the tracking performance, calibration speed and reliability that live broadcast demands. It has already proven itself on productions such as Alter Ego. There, it translates performers’ movements into real-time digital characters on air.
AI Glue Skeleton Tracking: Markerless Motion Capture at Scale
AI Glue has grown into a full motion capture system capable of tracking the full-body skeletons of multiple performers simultaneously, without markers, suits or wearable devices. Its accuracy now matches, and in some cases exceeds, leading AI-based tracking solutions on the market.
StypeTrek: Outdoor Camera Tracking
StypeTrek is stYpe’s new outdoor tracking system, engineered for reliable performance in virtually any open-area environment. It tracks rovers, cable cams, spidercams, drones and other mobile camera platforms with the same precision stYpe is known for indoors.
