IBC2026 has come to a close. stYpe looks back on four days of live demos at Stand 7.C36, RAI Amsterdam. This year’s presence centered on the launch of Stype Saturn, alongside three additional product releases. As a result, visitors got a hands-on look at the next stage of stYpe’s virtual production ecosystem.
Stype Saturn: The Centerpiece of the Stand
At the center of the stand was Stype Saturn, stYpe’s new node-based real-time compositor and renderer. For the first time, visitors saw Unreal Engine running as a plugin inside StypeLand, rather than the other way around. In addition, Saturn offered live support for Unity, Godot, and NVIDIA’s Gaussian Splat renderer.
Its open SDK and built-in LUA scripting drew particular interest from technical teams. These teams want to build their own workflows on top of the platform. Because of this, the SDK became a frequent topic in conversations on the stand.

Three More New Products at IBC2026
Alongside Saturn, stYpe introduced three additional new products.
Follower Suit and AI Glue Skeleton Tracking
Follower Suit brought broadcast-first motion capture to performers wearing mocap suits with retroreflective markers. It builds on the same system already used on productions such as Alter Ego.
Meanwhile, AI Glue skeleton tracking demonstrated markerless, multi-person, full-body tracking live on the stand. No suits or wearable devices were required. Overall, skeleton tracking was on show in both forms this year: marker-based with Follower Suit and markerless with AI Glue. Both ran side by side on the stand floor.
StypeTrek: Outdoor Tracking
StypeTrek made its debut as stYpe’s new outdoor tracking system. stYpe engineered it for reliable performance in virtually any open-area environment. It tracks rovers, cable cams, spidercams, drones, and other mobile camera platforms. Indoors or outdoors, it delivers the same precision stYpe is known for.
The Full stYpe Ecosystem, Live
Visitors also got hands-on time with the established stYpe ecosystem. This included RedSpy camera tracking, Follower talent tracking, HumanCrane and StypeKit autoaim, StypeLand XR, StypeLand GreenKiller with LuxIQ, StypeCentral, and Stage Whisper.
