Night of the flemish stars

We are excited to be a part of this major yearly television awards show. THE NIGHT OF THE FLEMISH TELEVISON STARS was produced by combining real scenography with 3D broadcast graphics (Augmented Reality) into seamless unity.

The Night of the Flemish Television Stars is an initiative presented yearly by the Flemish Television Academy. The seventh edition of this live award show took place in Hasselt, on Saturday March 15th. The gala was broadcast live on VIER, for the first time in the Television Stars’ history.

Excerpt from the official page: “Football players are awarded with a Golden Boot, musicians with MIA and writers with Golden Owl. Since 2008, there is also award for the best television programs and television characters. The Flemish Television Academy this year as an independent organization has its own awards for Television Stars: Night of the Flemish Television Stars.”

Marketgraph was in charge of creating the graphics and providing the render engine. The show was directed by Kev Houben while Michiel Milbou was coordinating light and video.

Producers utilized 9m Stanton Jimmy jib on a 10m rail and SAM dolly on a 20m rail. StypeGRIP’s technology enabled the Augmented Reality encoding of Eurogrip’s camera crane and dolly.
